  The X-ray department is a part of the Roentgenology Department.

  Examinations that are conducted in the Room of bone densitometry:

  • measurement of bone mineral density of the spine in the anteroposterior projection in zone L1-L4
  • measurement of bone mineral density of the hip and double measuring a hip
  • measurement of bone mineral density of the forearm
  • full measurement of bone mineral density of a whole body
  • morphometric analysis of thoracic and lumbar part of the spine
  • measurement of bone mineral density of the spine in the lateral projection
  • measurement of bone mineral density of the hand
  • double measurement of bone mineral density of the hand
  • measurement of bone mineral density with presence of hip joint endoprosthesis
  • double measurement of bone mineral density with presence of hip joint endoprosthesis
  • double measurement of bone mineral density of the hip joint

 X-Ray examinations:

  • Irrigoscopy and Irrigoscopy with double contrasting
  • polypositional fluoroscopy of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum
  • enterography and enteroscopy
  • passage of contrast in the bowelX-ray and radiography of the abdominal cavity organs
  • X-ray of the peripheral parts of the skeleton (ribs, hands, foot, bones of lower leg, hip, shoulder, forearms, scapula, clavicle)
  • joints in one and two projections
  • radiography of pelvic bones, hip joints, sacroiliac joints
  • Radiography of the spine (all divisions) in one, two projections
  • functional tests, radiography of the skull in one, two projections, the Turkish saddle (Sella turcica), the paranasal sinuses
  • Special stowage of the bones of the skull
  • temporomandibular joints
  • Radiography and roentgenoscopy of chest organs
  • linear tomography of chest organs
  • review and excretory urography
  • after consultation of a urologist - urethrography
  • after consultation of a urologist - cystography

Computer tomography:

 

  Computed tomography is a modern highly informative method of medical diagnosis using X-rays, the method provides reliable information about the condition of internal organs and reveal pathological changes (inflammatory, tumor, traumatic and others). And also see results of the treatment.

  Computer tomography can be carried out with contrasting. Used - Omnipak, Vizipak, etc.

During CT examination the patient must lie still.

  The patient should has a referral and all medical documents about the disease, including the recommendation for CT.

  CT examinations:

  • CT of the brain
  • CT of the neck
  • CT of the spine (neck, chest, lumbosacral segments)
  • CT of the hip joints
  • CT of the facial skull
  • CT of flat and tubular bones
  • CT of the lungs and mediastinum
  • CT of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space, special techniques with the use of contrast enhancement
  • CT angiography.
